About the Clinic
The London Perinatal Clinic was founded by Dr Anna Galloway, a leading Clinical Psychologist in the field of perinatal mental health. It was developed with the understanding that pregnancy and new parenthood is a time of rapid change, requiring bespoke and integrated support. The clinic offers specialist psychological care to families from the earliest stages of contemplating parenthood, through pregnancy, and into the postnatal period.
Its work is grounded in the belief that supporting parents early helps create a more confident and emotionally secure start to parenting, with lasting benefits for both parent and baby. The clinic brings together psychologists with experience across leading NHS settings, including Great Ormond Street Hospital and St Thomas' Hospital, combining strong clinical expertise with a warm, thoughtful, and highly individualised approach.
Founder & Director
Dr Anna Galloway
Director & Clinical Psychologist
Leading Clinical Psychologist in perinatal mental health. Experience across Great Ormond Street Hospital and UCLH. Specialist in pregnancy, birth trauma, and the early parent–infant relationship.
The clinic offers bespoke, evidence-based support tailored to each family's needs. This includes working with parents who feel anxious or uncertain about pregnancy, those navigating fertility challenges or treatment such as IVF, and families coping with miscarriage, baby loss, or complex maternal or fetal health concerns. It also provides specialist support for birth trauma, NICU stays, perinatal anxiety and depression, and challenges adjusting to life with a new baby.
Alongside this, there is a strong focus on the early parent–infant relationship — supporting bonding, confidence in reading a baby's cues, and helping parents feel more secure in their role. Where needed, the clinic works closely with obstetric, neonatal, and paediatric teams, ensuring that psychological care is integrated with a baby's medical care and early development.
For families referred from Bright Futures Health, the London Perinatal Clinic receives full clinical context and communicates proactively with the paediatric team — ensuring that psychological and medical care operate as a genuinely joined-up whole rather than parallel silos.
