Dr Gray is a Consultant Paediatrician with extensive experience in preventative paediatric medicine, child development and the care of acutely unwell children. As Medical Director of Bright Futures Health he has built a service designed around prevention and around families understanding their own child.
His approach starts with listening — to what families already know about their children, what worries them, and what they hope for. Appointments are unhurried and tailored to your family.

Getting here
- Underground: Earl’s Court (District and Piccadilly lines) is about seven minutes’ walk and has step-free access. High Street Kensington is about ten minutes, Gloucester Road about eleven.
- Bus: the 74 stops directly outside, at the Cromwell Hospital stop.
- By car: there is no car park at the hospital. There are meters on Marloes Road and Lexham Gardens, and paid car parks nearby on Cromwell Road and Scarsdale Place. The hospital is outside the Congestion Charge zone, though you may drive through it on your way.
The Cromwell Hospital is a private hospital in Kensington. Its children and young people’s department, Skyline, has its own outpatient area, and imaging, laboratory and paediatric inpatient services are in the same building — so if your child does need a test or a scan, it can usually be arranged there and then.

How do I book an appointment?
Call us on 020 3633 2915 (Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm) or email [email protected], and we will find a time that suits your family. Online booking is not yet available for The Cromwell.
I booked through The Cromwell Hospital. What happens next?
Your appointment is with Dr Martin Gray of Bright Futures Health, who runs these children’s clinics at The Cromwell. We will email you a short registration form before your visit — it tells us about your child and how you would like to be billed. If you are using insurance, please get a pre-authorisation number from your insurer beforehand. We invoice you, or bill your insurer, after the appointment.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can book directly with us. If you would like us to send a report to your GP afterwards, we are happy to do that — and we usually recommend it.
What ages do you see?
Birth through to adolescence. Newborns, school-age children and teenagers are all welcome.
What does an appointment cost?
Fees depend on the type and length of consultation. Current prices are on our fees page, or contact us and we will tell you exactly what your child’s appointment will cost before you book.
Can I use private health insurance?
Many policies cover private paediatric consultations. Check the terms with your insurer, or contact us and we can advise on how to claim.
