Frequently asked questions

How do I find a good paediatrician near me?

Check that they are a GMC-registered consultant paediatrician, read independent verified reviews, and choose a clinic you can reach easily. Our three clinics are in central, west and south-west London, and our clinicians' GMC registration and credentials are on each profile page.

Do I need a GP referral to see a paediatrician?

No. You can book directly. If your child needs NHS input afterwards, we write to your GP or NHS team.

How quickly can my child be seen?

Appointments are typically available within days. Availability differs by clinician and clinic, so the booking page shows live slots.

What ages do you see?

Birth to 18 years.

Which clinic should I choose?

The one that is easiest to reach. Dr Gray sees children at all three clinics; Dr Burmester sees children at Wimpole Street and Chiswick. Both doctors also offer video appointments.

Is it covered by private medical insurance?

Many insurers cover paediatric consultations. See the fees page for how each insurer is handled.

Do you offer video appointments?

Yes, with Dr Gray or Dr Burmester. See the booking page.
