Child Vaccinations in London, Led by a Consultant Paediatrician

Vaccination appointments with us start with a conversation, not a needle. A consultant paediatrician reviews your child’s immunisation record, spots any gaps or late doses, talks through the options and, where you agree, gives the vaccines at the same appointment.

What we offer

  • Immunisation record review, including for children who have moved to the UK or have incomplete records
  • UK routine childhood vaccines and immunisations
  • Catch-up vaccinations for missed or delayed doses
  • Travel vaccines, including typhoid, hepatitis A and rabies
  • Vaccines outside the NHS routine schedule or age window, such as BCG, hepatitis A, a MenB booster for teenagers, and chickenpox or meningococcal ACWY for children who are not yet or no longer eligible on the NHS
  • A personalised schedule and aftercare advice

We also explain which extra vaccines we recommend beyond the NHS schedule and why: Vaccines we recommend beyond the NHS schedule.

Why see a paediatrician for vaccines?

Because the questions parents ask are rarely only about the injection. Is it safe to catch up after a delay? What should we do before a trip? Is it fine to have two vaccines at once? A consultant can answer these on the spot and tailor the plan to your child.

Before you come

Bring your child’s red book or any vaccination records. If records are incomplete, tell us when you book and we will help you reconstruct a schedule. Vaccination is also reviewed at every well-child check.

Frequently asked questions

Are the vaccines you give different from NHS vaccines?

Where a vaccine is on the NHS schedule, it is the same vaccine. Our appointments are self-pay, which suits families who want a quicker appointment, a consultant’s advice, or vaccines that are not free on the NHS.

Will insurance reimburse it?

UK insurers generally do not cover vaccines that are available free on the NHS. International policies may differ, so please check with your insurer before booking.

Can my child catch up if they have missed doses?

Usually yes. We review what has been given and set out a catch-up schedule.

Do you give travel vaccines?

Yes. Please book well ahead of travel, as some courses need several doses.
