Sophie has been working at Bright Futures alongside Dr Burmester and Dr Gray for the last 2 years. Sophie is a mother of two children aged 4 and 10, so she can relate to some of your concerns and is a calm voice at the end of the phone!

Alongside being the Clinic Manager for Bright Futures, Sophie is also a holistic therapist, specialising in Reflexology, including pregnancy reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Facial treatments. Sophie gained her qualifications at evening classes at Barnet College and has been qualified in this field for over 20 years.

Before joining Bright Futures, Sophie worked for Middlesex University in London for 18 years in their International Partnership Department. She managed the overseas Partnerships between Middlesex University and those abroad. Sophie has a MA in Social Anthropology from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) University of London, and an MSc in Social Science Research Methods from Middlesex University. Sophie has aspirations to do a PhD, but this will probably have to wait until her children are a bit older.
